Castelli Body Paint 2.0 Bib Shorts

When most of us hear the words 'body paint,' we think of Mardi Gras or wild Vegas shows. But that certainly is not what Castelli had in mind when it coined the phrase to describe this line of high-quality cycling wear. The Castelli Body Paint 2.0 Bib Shorts will fit so well that you'll feel like -- you guessed it -- they have been painted on you. The result are bib shorts that Castelli is proudly calling its fastest and most comfortable shorts ever.

The shorts on the Body Paint Bib Shorts are formed from a single piece of seamless fabric for a naturally supportive fit. The short feels like it is hugging you perfectly in any position, thanks to this anatomic fit and the as well as a highly compressive fabric. This smooth fit, combined with the aero dimples employed in the material, make this is the most aerodynamic bib short on the market. Castelli engineered the dimples into the fabric to induce flow separation and reduce aerodynamic drag. Think of it as the clothing equivalent for the Zipp rim dimples.

Virtually no seams also means that there are fewer places to irritate your body and there are fewer opportunities for a wardrobe malfunction to occur. After all, who hasn't experienced a perfectly good pair of shorts coming apart at the seams?

The upper portion of the bibs is made from the special Giro2 Bib Straps, a single strip of Giro fabric that is very soft and stretchy. Castelli has eliminated the Lycra trim that typically edges bib straps and more often than not cuts into your shoulders to cause discomfort. The new mesh on the back will help keep your torso cool by allowing air to circulate. Likewise, the updated Giro3 integrated leg grippers have been intelligently fashioned so that the grip material has been knit directly into the short. The generous 5 cm wide band gently compresses to secure the leg hem in place. It also lies completely flat, keeping your leg as aero as if it were in a skin suit.

Perhaps nothing in these bib shorts has benefited as much from Castelli's association with professional cycling teams as the Progetto X2 Air Seat Pad. The Garmin-Cervelo team spend a year testing this short; that's a lot of saddle time to be thinking about how comfort could be improved. Since Castelli had it pretty right to begin with, there wasn't much more than tweaking going on. What it has done is add a perforated foam layer to the pad to help ventilate and keep the nether regions cooler by allowing air to flow directly onto the surface fabric. That layer sitting next to your skin is made from a four-way stretch, seamless, bacteriostatic layer designed to move with you, reducing any bunching and friction. The cushioning layer consists of strategically placed, multi-density foam. For good measure, perforated viscous comfort inserts have been added under the highly sensitive ischial and perineal pressure areas, so that your undercarriage will be supremely protected whether you are out on a two-hour weekday jaunt or training over cobbles for Roubaix.

The Castelli Body Paint 2.0 Bib Shorts are available in three color combinations: Black/Red, Black/Black and Black/Red/Yellow Fluorescent. They come in sizes Small through XXX-Large.

Price: $174.99 (29% Off!)
Regularly: $249.95

Honey Stinger Stinger Waffle - 16 Pack

If you've ridden the roads of Belgium, Honey Stinger's Organic Stinger Waffles might remind you of the waffles you'd have inevitably snacked on. But aside from the waffle pattern and round shape, the differences are perhaps greater than the similarities.

Honey Stinger's Waffles are created just for endurance athletes, not merely as a tasty morning snack. And that they're packaged in single serving units makes them easy to carry in your jersey pocket for that moment when you'd like to eat something with a bit of texture. The Stinger Waffles are simultaneously toasty and chewy as you eat them. And unlike bizarre lab-born products, the natural ingredients in the Waffles chew easily and go down quick -- almost too quick. Because they taste so good, you'd like for them to last a bit longer.

Like their other energy foods, the Honey Stinger Waffles rely on honey, nature's energy food, for a majority of the carbohydrate load. The honey is easily digested because it's made of a just-right 1:1 blend of fructose and glucose. It acts quickly to give you a burst of energy and is easy on the stomach. With the waffle, you'll also get carbs from organic wheat and soy flour along with organic cane sugar and rice syrup. Honey Stinger Organic Stinger Waffles are packaged in a box of 16 individually wrapped waffles. They come in Honey, Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, and Strawberry flavors and are a great on and off the bike snack.

Comes as a box of 16 individually wrapped waffles

Each 30g waffle contains 160 calories

The sweet and chewy waffle doesn't taste like an 'energy bar,' and you may catch yourself eating them at home

Not safe for cyclists or runners with allergies to wheat, soy, or eggs

Price: $13.99 (37% Off!)
Regularly: $22.25

SE Bicycles Dirt Flyer

Retired BMX pro Todd 'The Wildman' Lyons is the head honcho at SE bikes, and it's hard to say if he was more recognizable in the 90's for his unpredictable mid-race backflips or impeccable dreadlocks. Alongside an impressive BMX racing career, The Wildman dabbled in dual slalom racing, so he had considerable input on the SE Dirt Flyer -- a mountain bike designed by BMX riders. What does this combo look like? Well, you get the gearing of a mountain bike, a suspension fork for versatility, and the BMX-twist of a strong frame and responsive geometry. Go ahead, get wild, and make Todd proud.

For the construction of the Dirt Flyer frame, SE employed 6061 aluminum alloy, both for its durability and relatively light overall weight. And since construction is only one part of the puzzle, the geometry on the Dirt Flyer is focused on fun. The 22-inch top tube fits a wide range of riders. This keeps it responsive, whether you're ripping berms or hitting jumps. However, regardless of how you decide to pick-up speed, the Dirt Flyer's 69 degree head tube angle is steep enough to keep the handling precise, while still being slack enough to provide stability when you're hauling the mail. The 12.25-inch bottom bracket height provides plenty of pump, but is still low enough to feel planted in the turns. And, on top of this, short, 16-inch chainstays make locked-in manuals a breeze.

To keep your front wheel in check, the Dirt Flyer's Suntour SF7 DJ fork gets 100mm of travel, which is just enough to take the edge off of trail chatter or cased jumps. Tektro's Auriga Comp brakes handle stopping duties for both wheels, and Truvativ Ruktion cranks are strong enough for almost anything that you're able to throw at them. The drivetrain is a durable Shimano blend of Acera shifters and front derailleur, and an Alivio rear derailleur to get you to the top of your favorite trails. The cockpit is comprised of SE handlebars, stem, and saddle, which are designed to cope with the type of riding that the Dirt Flyer is made for. As for the wheelset, the Dirt Flyer rolls on SE hubs that're built to Weinmann double-wall rims. And to prime the wheels for hard landings and rough trails, SE cased them in Kenda Krad tires.

The SE Bikes Dirt Flyer is available in one size and in the color Hip Hop Blue.

Price: $399.99 (55% Off!)
Regularly: $890.00
