            <title>Chicago-Kent to compete in Tournament of Champions</title>
            <description>Chicago-Kent College of Law is one of only 16 law schools to be invited to compete in the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's Tournament of Champions taking place October 28 to 31 at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Matheson, Jr., has won the 2009 Chicago-Kent College of Law/Roy C. Palmer Civil Liberties Prize. The prize recognizes an exemplary work of scholarship exploring the tension between civil liberties and national security in contemporary American society.             <description>A diverse group of 25 undergraduate students, all interested in legal careers, is participating in a special four-week summer session at Chicago-Kent. The law school is hosting the Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program, which is designed to provide current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors exposure to the rigors of law school and contact with legal professionals.             <title>Chicago-Kent takes first place in Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition</title>

Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition.  Students Jocelyn Floyd and Marni Zaideman successfully defended the law school's championship and won the Best Respondent's Brief Award at the annual competition, held March 27 to 29 at the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison.  A second Chicago-Kent team won the competition's Best Practitioner's Brief Award.&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

            <title>Chicago-Kent advances to the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition finals</title>
