Seeking a maestro of versatility. An art director who’s equally comfortable in print and on the web. Serious design chops in all media, with a portfolio that runs the gamut – from sites to banner ads, from posters to brochures.

You must think conceptually, grasp the bigger marketing picture, and execute flawlessly. Equally comfortable discussing user experience or the stopping power of a print visual. The work here is fast-paced, and involves everything from logos and organizational/corporate identity to print ads, brochures, site design, web video, social media and banner advertising. You will be the lead art director on most projects, so you must also be comfortable with client interaction and presentations.

On the web side, you won’t be building what you design, but you must have a thorough understanding of UI and UE, and have a good sense of what can and cannot be done – in addition to what should and should not. You should understand brand building in addition to tactical design, regardless of medium. In print, your production skills must be strong – you must be able to prep files and interact with print vendors and publications.

You should have a minimum of 5 years solid agency experience, working on a variety of accounts in a variety of industries. You should have enough education to give you a firm footing in the business as well as confidence with peers and clients – and a good enough portfolio, online please, that makes any education you list immaterial.

Most likely you should:

*Maintain relationships with industry “insiders” and leading companies

*Worked for an Internet startup, content provider, or web company

*Be proficient in establishing and tracking social media metrics

*Also have experience engaging with the developer community </div>
