Whether you are a celebrity or a celebrity watcher, if you have a baby the chances are you are a busy parent. When you are on the go you need to be able to have the flexibility to do what you need to and still take care of your precious little one. But changing your baby while on the move isn’t always the easiest and most convenient thing to do. Public bathrooms can be a horrifically disgusting place to take care of your child, and they are often times not very equipped for what you need. The best way to make sure you have all of your bases covered is to have baby changing stations that are portable.

Portable baby changing stations are designed to be a changing mat that quickly attaches to the wall, side, or seat of a minivan or SUV. This creates a space that is stable, clean and secure so that you can comfortably change your baby’s diaper. If your vehicle will not work, it also gives you a good safe place that can be mobile and used in nearly any location from a park bench to a floor somewhere.

In addition to converting to an easy to use area to change your baby, it also has storage compartments for everything that a parent needs to help care for their child. They are often constructed out of machine washable material and when they are open they can cover an area that is as large as 16” x 35”. This is an adequate amount of space for you to do what you need to. In addition to the convenience, they are also very light weight, with many of the ones available online weighing in at just a pound or less.

Finding the right kind of baby changing stations can be a challenge in the stores, but there are some amazing outlets online that offer some wonderful models that are both portable, and for the home. Having a good area in your home can also be a real blessing. The last thing you want when you are changing your child is to not have something that you need, or have to leave them for a moment to go get something. You want to make sure that you are properly stocked up, and that you have a place that is set aside for changing. This all comes down to making sure that you have the right kind of baby changing stations that suits your needs.

Jewellery for the Summer

With summer fast approaching, all women should be looking for stylish ways to accessorize the outfits they will wear to picnics, swimsuits they have for the pool and the beach, and more formal wear for weddings. Jewellery is a great way to mix up your look without much effort or spending too much money.

If you’re going to a pool party or beach party, practicality is the key if you plan to get in and out of the water, so you should look for items made from plastic, lucite, or enamel rather than precious stones or heavier metals to make sure your jewellery lasts through the summer and that you aren’t devastated if the item gets lost.

On the other hand, a picnic or cookout can be a great time to show off some of your more original jewellery because of the more casual setting. Bright bracelets, large costume rings, or accessories that match the theme or setting of the party are sure to be hits.

Of course, when you are going to a more formal party like a wedding, it is an opportunity look your best, and that means wearing your best. Precious stones, Swarovski crystals, and gold and silver are excellent ways to accessorize your outfit.

This survey quizzed 1000 men and asked them about their interest in fashion and how much they rely on their partner’s opinion when they buy or wear clothes.

Here are some of the key interesting statistics:

· 43% of men sometimes wear clothes to work bought by wives/girlfriends
· Women most often help pick out clothes for other people’s parties, meetings, work and office parties.
· Wives buy clothes for 49% of men, Mums 32%
· 27% of men say their partners influence their decision on what to wear and 30% advise on what clothing doesn’t match
· 32% of men trust their partners judgement in terms of fashion, 29% say partner knows what looks good on them, 27% say partner has a better eye for how things look
· Most popular clothing partners buy for men: Socks (42%), Underwear (41%). Shirts (35%)
· Up to 46% of men sometimes rely on partner to pick out clothes so they don’t look scruffy or out of place at work

I am expecting my second baby and as anyone could imagine, I have to go to the doctor a lot. I never knew what all was involved until I had my first baby. This time around I pretty much know what to expect. My best friend works for my doctor so she tells me a lot of things that go on behind the scenes. I mean she doesn’t break confidentiality laws or anything like that. She just tells me things like who is dating who in the office or which doctor is married or getting a divorce, things like that. There are a lot of doctors in the practice so it is kind of fun for me to hear about everything that goes on there. She recently told me they got a new internet service through www.t1internet.net that is keeping them up with all of the things that they have to do online. There is just so much that goes into running a doctor’s office. That is why they have to have so many employees to take care of everything. I am just glad that I know someone who works there that can pull strings and get me the most popular appointment times that are hard to get most of the time.

Having so much family around the last few weeks has been great in some ways but torturous in others. My sisters always, always fight when left together for any length of time and of course they did this year without exception. Mom’s wonderful except that she won’t stay out of the kitchen because she’s constantly wanting to cook for everyone and she makes messes that she doesn’t clean up. Anyway, between all of them when they piled out last week I wasn’t really that sad to see them go. “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” I love that saying. I have pretty much made that my life motto. That, my friend, is part of the motivation that helped me decided to try to get into law school. I took the LSAT, applied and am now officially a student of Harvard Law. That’s right, little ole me! When I got my acceptance letter, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Funny enough, that is the same reaction I had when I saw what tuition was going to be also- I couldn’t believe my eyes! Despite the initial shock, I couldn’t turn them down. Who says no to Harvard? Not this girl! I did get a small academic scholarship but I will work part time to off set the cost of tuition. I also moved into my grandmother’s basement to save on rent and utilities. The only thing I’ll be paying for is my cell phone, insurance and internet. Luckily, I set her house up with Inman Square Broadband Internet. Can you believe she didn’t have internet? I think she may have been the only person left on the planet not connected to the world wide web. Who knows, maybe Granny will come around to a computer after all.

His beard (which he also sported for his upcoming movie Wanderlust), was met with mixed reactions, but he grew fond of it. “You establish all sorts of mannerisms with it. Like when you’re bored, you can feather your mustache.” As for how women responded to it: “Certain chicks dig it; certain chicks don’t.”

Men’s Clothing Sales for Labor Day Weekend

With fall right around the corner, a new school year starting up, and a long weekend in front of you, it’s a great time to do some shopping. As usual, when I shop, I look online for the best deals and to see what is in style, and I found some great mens clothing sales at both online stores and brick and mortar stores looking to bring in shoppers over the holiday weekend.

I am looking for some slacks, shirts, and a jacket for my man, and found some great deals on weathered boot cut jeans and relaxed jeans that will look great on him, along with a couple pairs of nice dress slacks. Next, I found a beautiful light gray wool overcoat that should fit in with the trends towards more sophisticated and luxurious looks shown in this fall’s fashion shows, and a double-breasted tweed jacket. Finally, I bought a sweater with a nice Nordic pattern, a couple crew neck shirts, and a solid, brown collared shirt.

With children, teenagers, and young adults all getting ready to head back to school, it seemed like a good time to look at the fashion trends for women and girls this fall so you or your daughter can be ready to look your best in class. In general, girls’ clothes appear to be more modest and more grown-up this year than they have in the recent past, which should be a relief to most parents, but a more feminine look is also in, which should appeal to younger girls.

According to many reports, retro clothing is still selling well, along with skinny leggings and fake fur and leather. Bright colors are also in, with red, orange, and yellow seeming to be the most popular. Of course, girls will continue to show interest in clothing worn by celebrities and models shown on TV and online, but there are plenty of fashionable options that should appeal to both the student and the parent.

I have found a new site that is really useful for people that are interested in celebrity fashion, Fashionbase.

Fashionbase provides a database of celebrities, designers, and clothing, and merges them all together in an easy to use and attractive format. I really like that I can click on the name of one of my favorite celebrities, like Kim Kardashian, and see recent photos and a list of her favorite brands, I can click on individual celebrity photos and find out what brands were used to make up an outfit I like, or I can click on the name of a designer I like and see who is wearing it.

While the entire site is very useful, I think my favorite part is the way they have listed brands so I can see who is wearing clothes and accessories from my favorite designers, and get ideas for how I can put together new outfits or new clothes that would look good on me and in my closet. If you sign up for an account, or sign in using your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account, you can even request more information about individual pieces of a certain outfit or upload your own photo to analyze, which I think is very helpful.

Whether you are looking for a hot celebrity photo, information on what famous people are wearing your favorite brands, a breakdown of a outfit that you saw a celebrity wearing and would like to duplicate, or just like to browse a large database of fashionable pictures, Fashionbase is the site for you.

The devastation in JAPAN following the earthquake and tsunami disasters in March 2011 was truly horrifying, claiming over 15,000 deaths, with over 5000 injured and over 8000 people still missing.
