Be sure to mark your calendars now for Friday, June 5th, for Lansing Library's annual block party! The fun begins at 6pm and lasts until 8:30pm. Preschoolers can play original games such as Mini-Shoe-Golf, Clean the Lake and Fill The Buckets and win a prize the first time they play. There will be more games for the older kids, as well as live music, a jump rope performer, and food and refreshments for sale. Our block party is the big kick off to our summer reading program and this year's theme is LIVE GREEN, READ GREEN @ YOUR LIBRARY so be sure to come join the fun and sign-up the whole family for summer reading!

National bestselling author Elizabeth Berg will be visiting the Lansing Public Library
on Tuesday, June 23 ~ 6:30 p.m. to read from her newest novel "Home Safe".
This new novel looks at the nature of creativity, the mother/daughter relationship,
and surprising places one can find love and meaning.

Copies of "Home Safe" will be available for purchase and signing.
