A new category – “Wildcard” – was invented by the jury to honor MoonWalk for its service to the Red Cross for their Moonwalk RED bro bono project to create 100 million dollar annual revenue streams to help thousands in need. The jury concluded that “not only is the methodology and organization of the project innovative and clearly “out-of-the-box”, but the involvement of external business and society and competency partners shows an innovation capability we would like too se more of. “If you cannot win the game, invent a new one,” says Kenneth Winther, the CEO of MoonWalk. The jury would qualify for a job in the Moonwalk RED project as we together with 30 Innovation Astronauts create a new game and a brighter future for Red Cross. Thank’s to the thousands of volunteers that make it possible to prevent and heal those in need. Thank’s to the business community and society that help us out. And thank’s to my employees that work days and nights to drive this important project all the way home.

Maria is polish growing up in the United States and London as the daughter of a Polish Diplomat. She is an Innovation Management Master student from  University of Arts London, Central Saint Martin’s in London. And she has worked at the world class industrial design agency Seymour Powell (London, UK), and helped the start-up of the Collaborative Arts Network (London UK),  a non-profit, members-only start up serving as a platform for people to navigate each others capabilities and projects, and collaborate.

The Red Cross is doing a fantastic job improving the lives of thousands of people. Every day. And that has to continue.

We traveled far and wide to find the next secure income sources for the Red Cross. Now we are set for touchdown. We hope you will meet us on the landing site.

Together we’ll mark an end and a new beginning.

10 June at 10:00 am on the roof of the Oslo Opera. End at 1:00 pm.

WHAT’S UP?

First a formal ceremony on the roof with a Innovation Astronauts handover of the business concepts to the Red Cross president.
Then presentations in the Opera House visitors’ center. Finishing off with mingling and networking.

Moonwalk RED: LiftOff at The Observatory.
