I love props, especially newborn props. Over the years, 8 now, I have accumulated LOTS of props. However, even with that being said, there is something so beautiful about these simple poses with no props… just a sweet baby girl, snuggled up on a soft blanket, dreaming in sweet slumber.
This sweet girl may be dressed in all sparkle pink, but her eyes are what mesmerized me the most! My mother had the most beautiful rich colored hair with these blue/green light eyes. I tell, this combination is gorgeous! I couldn’t get enough of Miss Rylie! Enjoy the slideshow!

This beautiful family welcomed a sweet new addition to their family and I couldn’t be more honored to photograph them. It’s been wonderful to see how much they’ve grown over the last few years from their maternity session, to their first born son, and now their daughter. I loved travelling out to their place in the country and getting caught up. The fallen tree trunk, they’ve decided, will be their go-to spot for family photos. 🙂 And just in front of this, they will be putting in a garden (and if you know me, I love anything and everything gardening). The wild flowers were an awesome addition to the photos, and as a photographer, I couldn’t asked for a better location or a better family.

Then it was time to head inside for indoor photos (and some AC)! Man it was hot!
then comes marriage…. yah yah, you know the rest…. but I honestly have to say, it is really neat to see this scenario play out in photos and to be witness to it each step of the way. Meet Racheal and Ryan, then and now.
