Setting your time zone

Login to your site.
Click on Settings on the My Website dropdown menu.
Scroll down to the Time Zone heading.
Click on the dropdown menu to select your appropriate time zone.
Click the Update button.

Add a blog element

Login to your website.
Go to the page you would like to add the blog element to.
Click on the Add Element button.
Choose the Blog option in the dropdown menu and click the Add button.

Write a blog post

Login to your website.
Add the blog element to your page.
Roll over the Blog toolbar and click Write New Post.
Fill in the following fields:
- Post Title- Give your new blog post a title.
- Post Shortcut- The shortcut is used to give your blog post an easy to remember direct address. For example if you make your shortcut “New Product”, then anyone can type “www.yourwebsite.com/New-Product” to visit it. This is useful for adding keywords to URLs for search engine marketing, traditional marketing, and creating easy-to-remember landing pages. Your shortcut can be edited later if need be.
- Author- This will auto populate to the persons name editing the site. Type a different name if you would like to change this.
- Date- The date will auto populate to today's date, but you can choose a different date by clicking the calendar link and choosing a different date or by typing one in manually.
  - Tip: You can delay when this post first shows by specifying a date in the future.

- Body- Write all of text and add pictures you would like to share with the world.
- Tags- If you would like to categorize your blog posts or organize them, you can add tags to your blog post.
Click the Update button.

Downloading the uploaded files from your form

Login to your site.
Navigate to the page where the form is located that has the uploaded files you need.
On the Form toolbar click Manage Entries from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the entry that has a to be downloaded.
Right-click on the linked file and click on Save Target As... (Save Link As... in Firefox).
Choose the location to save the file and click the Save button.

Remove unwanted formatting

Many users like to copy text out of Microsoft Word because of the spell checking and other word processing features that allow them to edit their content for grammar issues. This is possible to do, but Word puts formatting in the site that browsers read instead of the default stylesheet already on your website. This could cause your fonts, font colors, spacing and sizes to look different from the rest of the site. It is best to follow the directions below to remove that formatting if you have already pasted your content in.

If you have not put your content in yet, follow these directions for copying and pasting into the text editor.

Login to your site.
Navigate to the text editor that you want to remove the formatting from.
Click on Settings from the drop down admin menu.
Highlight the text you would like to remove the formatting from or hit Ctrl + A to select all.
Click on the Format Stripper dropdown menu.
- Strip All Formatting- This will remove all formatting from what you have selected. You will need to go back in and put in spaces and headings after you choose this.
- Strip Css Formatting- All CSS styling is removed from what is selected.
- Strip Font Elements- Any font tag or font reference is removed.
- Strip Span Elements- Any span tags that are put into your selected text will be removed.
- Strip Word Formatting- Formatting that was put in through Word will be removed.
Once everything looks the way you want it to look, click the Update button.

Edit a user's password

Login to your website.
Move your mouse cursor and roll over the My Website button in the admin toolbar and click on Users from the dropdown menu.
Click the (edit) link to the right of the user's name.
Type the new password in the password field.
Type that same password in the confirm password field.
Click the Update button.

Add a Youtube video to your site

Login to your website.
Go to the text element where you would like to add the Youtube video to and click on Settings from the dropdown menu.
Click on the < > HTML button in the bottom left of your text element. This will open up the HTML view for this text element.
In your browser open up another window or tab and navigate to the Youtube video you want to add.
Look for the code to embed. Below is an example embed code that you can test out.

Navigate back your your website and paste this in your HTML where you would like for it to be.
Click the Update button.

Note: This will work for other video sites as well such as blip.tv and vimeo.com.

Change your website name

Login to your website.
Under the My Website dropdown menu, click on Settings.
On the BASIC tab change the name in the field that says Website Name.
Click the Update button.

Add another user to your site

Login to your site.
Roll over the My Website button on the admin toolbar and click on Users from the dropdown menu.
Click the Add a person to this website link.
Fill in the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Full Name, Email, Password and Confirm password.
Make sure you have clicked the Authorized box.
Choose a role for them by clicking the box next to the role.
Click the Update button.

Add photos to the photo gallery

Login to your website.
Add the Photo Gallery element.
Roll over the Photo Gallery admin bar and click on Add/Remove Photos.
To upload a single photo at a time:

Click on browse and select a jpeg image that you would like to upload and click open.

Click the Upload button.

Note: If you choose to display a name, by default the file name of the jpeg image will be the name displayed below the picture. Example- If the file name is Outside Photo.jpg the name below the picture will be Outside Photo.

To upload multiple photos at a time:

Click on browse and select a zip file with jpeg images that you would like to upload and click open.
Click the Upload button.

Note: If you choose to display a name, by default the file name of the jpeg image will be the name displayed below the picture. Example- If the file name is Outside Photo.jpg the name below the picture will be Outside Photo.

Note: The photos are put in alphabetical order on the photo gallery. If you are not displaying the name of the photos you can name them a.jpg, b.jpg, c.jpg, etc to put them in the order you want.
