Combining this into a mid-winter update and a quick summary of big projects from last year and goals for 2026!

In 2025 I got into doing art for Table Top RPGs, and I’d love to do more! It is a lot of fun to collaborate with indie creators who are passionate about their projects. I also got to do a couple fun comics projects, one of which you can read below in full!

Goals for this year:

This year I would like to do a lot more commercial work, and be more involved in the communities I’m already a part of. I want to create new stuff for people to enjoy and to share my perspective and knowledge, and feel more secure with my place in the world. Last year was tough for a variety of reasons, not least of which was the deaths of both my father and uncle. It’s left me wanting to share my art with my friends, my community, and the world.

Check out my bingo board- I am definitely not immune to a little gamification, and I love the idea of crossing off as many little squares as I can. I’ve already crossed off a couple, but you’ll have to wait til the end of the year to see how I do!

What’s a Banderole?

I’ve nicknamed my news and updates posts the Banderole- but what’s a banderole? Essentially, it’s a banner— something that you might find at the top of a knight’s lance or on a ship’s mast announcing affiliation or loyalty. If you’re coming into a harbor or tromping into town you want something to let people there know who’s coming.

Because these banners were generally long and thin, a banderole quickly became a way to refer to any long thin scroll. In art, those sort of banderole were sometimes used like medieval speech bubbles to relay the important words of figures like saints and angels as well as informational text for the viewer.

So in general, a banderole is both an announcement and a short message that might convey some info. I’ll be using mine to give short updates about new work, projects, and generally what I’ve been up to.
