In the first game, Greg Vogt improved to 3-1 on the mound, allowing eight hits and no runs in seven innings while striking out one.

“I gave him a hats off, that’s kind of what I do with an unbelievable pitching performance which he had,” said Ravens coach David Pressley. “Just a way to make your pitches and depend on your defense. He did a great job of that.”

Vince Moore led the Raven offense with two hits and the only RBI of the game. Michael Tucker, Brett Detty and Jacob Craft each had a hit in the contest.

In the second game, Tucker led the Ravens with two hits and two RBI, including the game-winner in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie.

“We’ve got to finish what we started,” said Pressley. “Home field, a lot of times you go on the road and you feel good if you can take a series, but on your home field when you take the first two you’ve got to go out, finish and get this last one.”
